Prof. Willem de Vos from Wageningen University & Research Centre is one of four scientists who received the NWO/Spinoza Prize for 2008.The prize is the biggest Dutch award in science. Willem de Vos performed pioneering work in the field of microbiota and gut health. Gut flora Foundation wants to congratulate him with this precious prize. We certainly hope that he takes it as an incentive prize and that he will continue contributing to the development of microbiology of the gut.
